Role of Municipal Corporation alias "Nagar Nigam"
Faridabad has the honour of getting the first Municipal Corporation of Haryana.Before that such civil activities were managed through FCA( Faridabad Complex Administration).
If we look back and evaluate the role of the current body & its contribution, it is self-evident that it appears to a franchise of State Government in local terms.
Just pick-up the news stories about each elected Councilor alias Parshad,you would observes, that most of their energies are wasted in politicking.
Everyone amongst them shows his worry about his/her ward but no one is concerned about Faridabad as a whole.
Do they realize where their city stands w.r.t Gurgaon, which was a real Gaon(a Village) just 20 years back.
Gurgaon should be thankful to Maruti Udhyog Ltd for its current development today.
It was this Maruti car which brought Gurgaon on the global map & after that its development has been consistently sponsored by the State Governance.
It is high time that the Municipal Corporation's Councilors,Civic Officials, MLAs,MP,etc etc & everyone who represents the political fraternity related to Faridabad should understand his/her role & struggle to bring the lost glory of Faridabad back.
Exactly today while Gurgaon is gifted with initiation of 700 crores worth of development including the much-talked Metro, Faridabad has to content with some virtual focus of Health Services.
"Development is a must and has to be quick."
