Faridabad- a neglected city
Faridabad has been a neglected city throughout.Just see its neighbours, Gurgaon, NOIDA,etc & you would agree that I am right.A city that has some of the industrial units like Escorts,Goodyear,JCB,etc has to struggle to get even the bare minimum and necessary requirements like electricity, water, roads, etc.
Though its neighbours continue to flourish, Faridabad just stares at others for help and mercy in the form of infrastructural projects. Yes you could find commercial sites with lots of shopping malls in-pipeline, but an average citizen has nothing much to do with them.
This city which is separated by a railway line in its centre has a unique case where the residents have to pay toll tax to commute from one part of it to the other through a Flyover built at Faridabad New Town Railway station.
If you visit its railway stations and its bus stand ,you would just not believe your eyes. The condition is pathetic.
Well even then and inspite of all this, I would continue to live here because its my home town & would rather like to fight for its rights then leaving it in the hands of people who have come from other states to earn their livings. The problem is that such people( lacs of them) are least bothered about Faridabad's present condition.
that's all for today, we would have more of these things at proper times.
Best Regards & good day

Faridabad is India's Rome- All road led to it once & it was not built in a day
Dear All,
First of all let me introduce myself before writing this first blog and also purpose of initiating it.I am basically living at Faridabad from my childhood days and am emotionally attached to this place.I have always wanted Faridabad to grow and be on national level w.r.t all standards but am silently seeing it deteriorating every day in comparison to neighboring which were earlier regarded "Slums".
This blog is not just a place to write & discuss problems about Faridabad but also their solution and to the best possible to search for volunteers to help Faridabad solve its problem and regain its Glory of being One of the best industrialized city and above all a city to be proud of.We would be adding news, issues, events related to Faridabad. Its just a start and I invite you all to participate in this unending sheet which would then become a history sheet for us to look back.
Everyone is cordially invited to share his/her views. Its not mandatory that you should live in Faridabad. Also we might not just limit ourself to just Faridabad but might also move to other topic which might be relevant at a situation.
Thanks in anticipation and Best Regards to all,
Rajnish Sharma
